The Luminaria contemporary arts festival presents astonishing new work by dancers, actors, poets, comedians, filmmakers, musicians, composers, and visual artists. From November 9-12, 2016 regional and international artists will honor San Antonio’s historic Eastside. Wednesday night unveils murals gifted to the community, Thursday night’s festival shines on the Hays Street Bridge, and on Friday night the Carver Community Cultural Center and the Dignowity & Lockwood Parks host unforgettable performances, innovative pop-up exhibitions, and genre-busting multi-media works. Rattletree will perform on Friday evening and present a hands-on marimba workshop on Saturday afternoon.
